NY	Department of Defense	Statewide	$350,000.00
Enables the Empire State Development's Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) to provide technical assistance to at least 12 small defense suppliers and early-stage defense-focused companies in defense dependent areas. Targeted assistance will cover training in advanced materials, technology, and efficient processes. This project stimulates cooperation between statewide and local adjustment and diversification efforts. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
AL	Department of Defense	Statewide	$374,795.00
Enables the University of Alabama - Huntsville Office for Operational Excellence to provide modernization assessments to defense suppliers in Mobile, Alabama and the surrounding area to evaluate companies' readiness to apply advanced technologies, identify gaps where these technologies could be utilized, evaluate the potential impact of adding technology, and provide training on technology adoption. At least 25 business participating will receive an introduction to advanced manufacturing and an additional 12 businesses will be provided in depth technical assistance. This project stimulates cooperation between statewide and local adjustment and diversification efforts. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
OR	Umatilla Army Depot	Mission Realignment	$630,197.00
Enables the Columbia Development Authority, as it awaits transfer of ownership of acreage from the U.S. Army, to continue operating and sustain redevelopment planning, legal support, and environmental assessment efforts at the former Umatilla Army Depot. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
PR	Naval Station Roosevelt Roads	Mission Realignment	$1,506,219.00
Enables the Local Redevelopment Authority for Roosevelt Roads, as it awaits transfer of ownership of acreage from the U.S. Navy, to sustain redevelopment activities at the former Naval Station Roosevelt Roads to include operations, maintenance, coordination of infrastructure and utility improvements, administration of piers, and management of leases. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
SD	Ellsworth Air Force Base	Mission Realignment	$2,679,702.00
Enables the Douglas School District to undertake planning and design of new public services and infrastructure in order to properly support the current 1,100 military-connected students and build capacity for an increase of 3,000 service members and their families at Ellsworth Air Force Base--retaining airmen and their families assigned to the installation. The project includes feasibility study elements such as traffic studies, demographic studies, and the design of a geothermal loop. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
CO	Pueblo Chemical Depot	Diversification	$401,659.00
Enables the Pueblo Depot Activity Development Authority, as it awaits transfer of ownership of acreage from the U.S. Army, to continue oversight associated with the redevelopment of the Pueblo Chemical Depot to include environmental support, Economic Development Conveyance negotiations, legal, audit, and records management services. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
MD	Department of Defense	Statewide	$1,017,950.00
Enables the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and MxD Learn, the workforce arm of MxD (Manufacturing times Digital), to develop a curriculum to address the need for cybersecurity for operational manufacturing technology for defense manufacturers. The objective is to provide current workers with learning opportunities that result in certification(s), giving them the tools necessary to execute careers in manufacturing cybersecurity. This project stimulates cooperation between statewide and local adjustment efforts making the industrial base more resilient to cyber threats. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
MD	Military Installations in Maryland	Statewide	$641,574.00
Enables the Maryland Department of Commerce to guide compatible development by producing applicable mapping tools; procedures for jurisdiction coordination; a compatible land use guidebook; and a website for making land use decisions. The effort will also assess potential legislation regarding land use that supports long-term sustainability of military operations throughout the state. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
AZ	Yuma Proving Ground	Defense Community Infrastructure Program	$13,286,100.00
Enables the Arizona Department of Transportation to undertake a project to construct new improvements along U.S. Route 95 and reconstruct the Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation Canal Bridge. The project will provide for safer and more reliable transport of personnel and equipment to and from the Army's Yuma Proving Ground and surrounding communities. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
CA	Department of Defense	Statewide	$1,915,415.00
The California Advanced Defense Ecosystem National Consortia Effort, a consortium comprised of community, industry, state agencies, educational institutions, and DoD Manufacturing Institute NextFlex will strengthen the resiliency of the national security innovation and manufacturing base through a series of 15 projects. The organization works with defense manufacturers in the area of microelectronics, space, and 5G; offers support and training to small manufacturers. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
