Enables a Cornell University led project to address the need for advanced defense space technology manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities by fostering collaboration among universities, research institutions, industry experts, and government agencies in New York State for the space technology sector. NY	Department of Defense	Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program	$5,000,000.00
Enables the Empire State Development's Division of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) to provide technical assistance to at least 12 small defense suppliers and early-stage defense-focused companies in defense dependent areas. Targeted assistance will cover training in advanced materials, technology, and efficient processes. This project stimulates cooperation between statewide and local adjustment and diversification efforts. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
PA	Department of Defense	Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program	$4,908,960.00
Enables a Manufacturers'Association led project to make long-term investments in critical skills, facilities, research and development, and small business support in order to strengthen the submarine industrial base and national security innovation base. This effort will support the U.S. Navy's national security goal of increasing production from one to three submarines annually and enhance the results of the U.S. Navy's Pennsylvania Talent Pipeline Program. TX	Department of Defense	Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program	$5,000,000.00
Enables a University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley led project to secure a U.S. supply of tactical alloys through additive, hybrid, and intelligent manufacturing to address casting and forging supply chain issues facing the U.S. military by developing and providing technical support for novel materials and processes, offering certificate/training programs, and serving as a regional tech demonstration hub. PR	Naval Station Roosevelt Roads	Mission Realignment	$1,506,219.00
Enables the Local Redevelopment Authority for Roosevelt Roads, as it awaits transfer of ownership of acreage from the U.S. Navy, to sustain redevelopment activities at the former Naval Station Roosevelt Roads to include operations, maintenance, coordination of infrastructure and utility improvements, administration of piers, and management of leases. Fiscal Year 2020 Award
MD	Military Installations in Maryland	Statewide	$641,574.00
Enables the Maryland Department of Commerce to guide compatible development by producing applicable mapping tools; procedures for jurisdiction coordination; a compatible land use guidebook; and a website for making land use decisions. The effort will also assess potential legislation regarding land use that supports long-term sustainability of military operations throughout the state. Fiscal Year 2020 Award

Enables the University of Southern Mississippi to build the Mississippi Defense Initiative to invest in the expertise needed for a resilient business ecosystem and promote economic diversification. The project focuses on defense technologies accelerated into commercial and dual-use applications and provides technical assistance to defense-dependent communities, builds intellectual capacity, capitalizes on competitive strengths, and spurs innovation. This project stimulates cooperation between statewide and local adjustment and diversification efforts making the industrial base more resilient to fluctuations in defense spending. Enables the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services and the Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Partnership to identify 250 small and mid-sized defense firms, align them with cybersecurity resources to assess compliance and provide technical assistance to at least 8 companies to mitigate any compliance gaps. The project will also engage companies in conversations about how they could further modernize and diversify their business lines. This project stimulates cooperation between statewide and local adjustment efforts. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
VT	Department of Defense	Statewide	$1,300,000.00
Enables the State of Vermont to continue work across six states in the New England region to increase awareness of Industry 4.0 technologies and explore the barriers and solutions for SMEs to adopt the technologies in the New England region, support development of a communication plan to increase feedback loops and impact within the ecosystem, and introduce a regional workforce program to address challenges in creating a unified regional training and career pathway in advanced manufacturing.
