FY25 Grant Award

Enables the Central Savannah River Area Regional Commission to carry out plans for enhanced public infrastructure and services in response to Army Cyber Command-related growth at Fort Eisenhower. The project will address service members and their dependents? quality of life by identifying and prioritizing regional initiatives concerning transportation, public services, economic development, education, housing, health care and child care.

Enable North County Fire Protection District, California to undertake a $13.9 million project to construct a fire station that will enhance emergency response resources and mitigate impacts of wildfires on training and mission readiness. The project supports the readiness and lethality of Marine Corps Camp Pendleton and Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Detachment Fallbrook.

Enables the City of White Hall, in partnership with Pine Bluff Arsenal and the surrounding metropolitan area to assess off-post infrastructure systems, utilities, mass communication, and surface road access that are impacted by extreme weather events. These systems will be further tested through a tabletop exercise that will include representatives from the Arsenal, city, county, State and Federal partners. This planning effort enhances the lethality of the installation?s mission to support and sustain munition, chemical/biological defense and textile readiness of America?s Joint Warfighters.

Enables the County of McMullen to plan and design 12 miles of improvements along an unimproved, rural road, which is the single access road to the McMullen Range and the Relocatable Over-the-Horizon Radar - Texas complex. This effort supports the Secretary of War's priority of reestablishing deterrence through enhancing capabilities at the only United States-based radar system in USSOUTHCOM?s surveillance architecture; enhances detection and surveillance capabilities along the southern border; and strengthens mission readiness and lethality at Naval Air Station Kingsville.

Enables informed, whole-of-island leadership and coordinated village-level action to support the Department of War?s Pacific Defense Initiative by strengthening civilian infrastructure, governance capacity, and strategic communications across Guam?s 19 Villages, ensuring military readiness, resilient logistics and emergency response, and transparent public engagement in a high-threat environment, thereby reinforcing national security objectives and enhancing U.S. regional deterrence in the Indo-Pacific.

Belle Chasse Academy, Inc., an independent LEA and operator of a public charter school at Naval Air Station/Joint Reserve Base in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, will undertake a $44,939,232 project ($35,951,386 in federal funding and a $8,987,846 non-federal match funding) to design, renovate, and expand its current facilities in response to condition and capacity deficiencies as prioritized by the Secretary of Defense Priority List for the Public Schools on Military Installation Program. The project, when complete, will support the education of over 650 military-affiliated children annually.

Enables the City of Meridian to assess and design repairs for water and sewer infrastructure supporting the operational readiness of Key Field Air National Guard Base.
