Enables the Hawaii Department of Education to remedy the facility condition and capacity deficiencies at Mokapu Elementary School located on Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The school is ranked #33 on the Secretary of Defense's Public Schools on Military Installationspriority list and contains new construction for the Pre-K through sixth grade facilities. Once completed, the school will serve up to 975 students of which most are military connected. Fiscal Year 2022 Award

Enables Albuquerque Public Schools to remedy the facility condition and capacity deficiencies at the Sandia Base Elementary School located on Kirtland Air Force Base. The school is ranked #42 on the Secretary of Defense's Public Schools on Military Installationspriority list and contains modernization and new construction for the Kindergarten through fifth grade facilities. In 2022, Sandia Base Elementary School was projected to serve 576 students of which most are military connected. Fiscal Year 2022 Award

Enables the Municipality of Anchorage to undertake a project to construct a Port of Alaska micro-grid, battery and electrical infrastructure project. The project constructs a microgrid to provide reliable, redundant energy for Port of Alaska and Joint-Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and will enable the Port and specific installation facilities to island from the utility provider power grid during major grid outages in order to maintain operational capability. Black Rapids Training Site

Enables the Alaska Energy Authority to undertake a project to extend electric service approximately thirty-four miles to the remote Black Rapids Training Site, where presently diesel generators provide the sole source of electrical power. The project expands access to training assets by accommodating greater training rotations with more personnel and equipment; thus enabling a higher state of readiness where cold weather and mountain warfare tactics and techniques are needed. Enables the Arizona Department of Transportation to undertake a project to construct new improvements along U.S. Route 95 and reconstruct the Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation Canal Bridge. The project will provide for safer and more reliable transport of personnel and equipment to and from the Army's Yuma Proving Ground and surrounding communities. Fiscal Year 2022 Award

Enables Walton County, Florida, to construct a new fire station adjacent to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This project will enhance Installation Readiness at Eglin Air Force Base by enabling emergency response capabilities to include wildland firefighting, and quick deployment of Emergency Medical Services capabilities. The replacement will enhance the flexibility and redundancy of emergency response resources provided to the installation by the city. Fiscal Year 2022 Award

Enables the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, to improve water capacity and pressure for consumers within that service area directly adjacent to the installation. The project installs a 12-inch water main to support Naval Station Mayport by enabling a future connection between the civilian potable water system and the installation's potable water system, providing water service redundancy as well as an emergency source. Enables the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources to provide a safer and more effective wildfire response, mitigate fire risk, and minimize disruption to military training at the Army's Pohakuloa Training Area. The project will allow the Pohakuloa Training Area to better accommodate contingency and mobilization forces, as well as increase the time available for training opportunities. Fiscal Year 2022 Award

Enables the City of Mountain Home, Idaho, to construct an additional drinking water well and associated infrastructure including roadway and stormwater improvements. The project supports Mountain Home Air Force Base by expanding development opportunities for housing and support infrastructure for mission personnel. Installation personnel currently experience challenges locating housing in close proximity to the installation and are commuting long distances and paying higher costs for transportation and a place to live. Fort Polk and the Joint Readiness Training Center

Enables the England Economic and Industrial Development District (England Airpark), home of Alexandria International Airport to build a Wash Rack on the airfield utilized by Fort Polk and the Joint Readiness Training Center and the units rotating through for training missions. Military vehicles and helicopters utilized in rotation training operations return to the Intermediate Staging Base often tracking soils and field debris accumulated during the training operations. The soils and debris are easily tracked onto transport vehicles and into cargo transport air craft causing safety issues for military personnel and requiring additional cleaning efforts. This project will enhance mission readiness at Fort Polk and enhance operations at the Intermediate staging base and the Aerial Port of Debarkation. Fiscal Year 2022 Award
